It’s Friday, I’m in love
Oh Friday evenings – how I love you. Home. Early in pyjamas. Snacks and treats. Cheeky eating dinner sitting on couch, with people I love. Cat purring. Unwinding, decompressing, sighing…aaaahhhh…the promise of a beautiful weekend ahead!
But what do you do when something suddenly annoys you and throws you off kilter? How can one just breathe deep, let go and rise above it when all you want to do is lash out and thump something (or someone)? I think the Universe is trying to teach me something. This is like deja vu. Yoga has been such a steady and solid anchor. Perhaps I’ll find my answer there. Or maybe clear my head and go for long walks – they work wonders.
